All Newline Painting staff, Edward and his team were phenomenal. Miner's cottages and Victorian villas need different prep

Bendigo work splits two ways and the prep differs completely. A miner's cottage is weatherboard and timber, so the hours go into sanding, filling and making the sashes sound before anything is coated. A Victorian villa off View Street brings render, ornate verandah timber and far more detail to cut in by hand. We measure both on site, because the detail is what moves the number here, not the wall area.

Heritage overlays through the central streets

The central streets carry heritage overlays, and on a contributory building an exterior colour change can need council approval before you commit. Original render fails at the base where it has been wicking moisture for a century, and coating over it just traps the problem. We cut out and patch what is loose, let it cure, and use a breathable system so the wall can dry outward.
