Rate per sqm, was within my expectations and the painter got to work within 7 days from initial contact. We recently purchased a unit in Melbourne. We contacted Newline Painting a couple of weeks before our completion date to enquire whether they could paint the whole unit (walls, ceilings & all woodwork), before we moved in & while the property was empty. Newline were very efficient in understanding our needs and supplied us with an extremely competitive quote. We picked up the keys on Friday, Newline started work on the Monday and were finished by Thursday. The quality of their work is amazing. We wanted two bedrooms painted different colours - “no issue, choose the colours and we’ll get it done” was their response. Fantastic customer service from start to finish. Be careful of these guys! Came out and quoted me $9,000 for a one bedroom apartment interior only paint! During the visit they made it out to be a bigger job then it was (we not painting Sistine chapel)! Then followed me up handful of times pressuring for the job. Got another two quotes - one for $3,500 and another for $3,800. Got the job done for LESS THAN HALF PRICE with no fuss and great workmanship by another painter! Newline said min 5 day job, actual job was 3 days. Beware of the slick social media advertising! I commented negatively about my experience via one of their instagram posts and they deleted my comment and banned me as a follower! Pic for evidence below! How genuine are these positive google reviews? Many of the 5 star reviews are from people with 1 review to their profile! I’m sure they will request google remove this review as well! AVOID! RIP OFF! ***In response to your response below - second image shows same website address, same company name and same instagram link you’ve blocked me from. Super crafty response though to my initial review, placing doubt in reviewer readers minds - is it the same newline painting? I’d post the actual quote but link expired.

Newline were employed to paint our period home externally. Firstly the team were not prepared to take on any client feedback and managed our expectations throughout the job. The prep work and quality of the job did not meet the scope stated in their quotation nor did they perform the work based on the steps a professional painter would do to complete the work to a standard quality of workmanship. We were able to settle on a deposit only, however it certainly was not a pleasant experience.
