After painting both 145 and 147 Kangaroo Road, our client Waruna called us back for a third project—this time at 143. Unlike the previous jobs, this one was all about preparing the home for sale. It was a full interior and exterior repaint that needed to align with the work of other trades, correct surface issues caused by foundation movement, and get the home market-ready under a tight timeline.
When someone trusts you with three homes on the same street, you make sure the result delivers.
Waruna had worked with us twice before, so expectations were clear. But this project was more involved than previous ones. The home had recently undergone foundation relevelling, leaving behind cracks, movement damage, and structural touchups that needed to be carefully addressed before painting could begin.
We were brought in early to coordinate our work around other trades and deliver a smooth, professional finish inside and out.
This job was delivered in three structured stages to match the broader timeline of work happening on site:
Stage 1 – Surface Preparation:
We patched large cracks in the walls and ceilings caused by foundation movement. Ceilings were inspected and reinforced where needed, ensuring a strong base before painting.
Stage 2 – Full Interior & Exterior Paint:
Every room and surface was given a fresh coat, including ceilings, walls, doors, and trims. Outside, we addressed all facades and frames with weather-appropriate exterior coatings.
Stage 3 – Final Touchups Post-Trades:
Once the other trades completed their work, we returned to repair any marks or damage caused during installation or fit-out. Clean lines and a unified finish were essential.
As part of the external update, several weatherboard sections were replaced and repainted. These were colour-matched and sealed for consistency with the rest of the facade.
The garage’s concrete floor was also repainted — a simple upgrade that added to the property’s overall presentation and polish for potential buyers.
Timing and coordination were crucial for this project. We worked closely with other contractors to ensure all painting stages were completed on time, while still holding to Newline’s quality standards. The end result was a refreshed, presentable home — clean, modern, and visually ready for listing.

143 Kangaroo Road is now ready for its next chapter. What made this one special wasn’t just the size or scope—it was the trust. After two successful projects, Waruna came back to us for a third. That’s the kind of relationship we aim to build with every client.
And for this home, it paid off in a smooth delivery and a sale-ready result that speaks for itself.
